When Orange Business Services decided to launch a Nigerian sales office to strengthen its presence and business ties in the region, LWBC stepped in to arrange a one-day press conference, where local and global heads could meet and establish relationships with the local media.
The agency arranged the event at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lagos remotely, from its Johannesburg offices. The team researched and touched base with top tier Nigerian business and technology focused media, and sold in the idea of attendance at the event.
The journalists were offered opportunities for one-on-one interviews with local and global heads from Orange Business Services’. Furthermore, a press release was developed for dissemination to media that were unable to attend, as well as media situated in the rest of Africa, who report on the Nigerian region.
A team of LWBC professionals was sent to Nigeria to manage the running of the event, including media registration, interview handling, spokesperson training and media liaison.
